Gender statistics in Vietnam 2020

The book presents gender statistics according to various topics, such as: Population, family, education, health, labour and employment, and leadership and management. Information and statistics in the publication were gathered and calculated from the national statistical system (reported by state agencies) and from national surveys conducted by the GSO. The publication is to provide useful information and statistics for readers to understand the existing gender relations and gender gaps in society. Also, it is expected to facilitate gender analysis and forecast of gender impacts of legislation, policies and programmes for women and men to ensure their equal access to, participation in, and benefits from the national development process.
