USAID/LAOS COUNTRY-LEVEL GENDER ANALYSIS

A gender analysis is a systematic process used to identify, understand, and describe gender differences and the relevance of gender roles, responsibilities, rights, opportunities, patterns of decision making and leadership, and access to resources and services in a specific context. It is a tool for examining the causes and consequences of inequality and identifying gender program priorities for more impactful and equitable development interventions.
