Rubber institutions in Ban Hat Nyao: Managing trees, markets and producers

Rubber development in Ban Hat Nyao was a complex process involving community, government and market actors. Rubber has complicated land management, increasing competition for land. Better off farmers, with higher livelihood security, are able to generate benefits, but it seems that generally there is a danger of rubber creating gaps within communities (Manivong, 2007).
