Report on constituency dialogues in Cambodia (2013)

The constituency dialogue is similar to that of a town hall meeting and anyone is welcome to attend. Moderated by experienced NDI staff, the forum opens the floor to between 250 and 1,000 community residents who raise questions and voice concerns directly to their constituency representatives, members of the National Assembly. From October 2012 to March 2013, NDI held 12 constituency dialogues in the 12 Cambodian provinces with multiparty representation in the National Assembly: Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Kampong Cham, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Speu, Kampong Thom, Kampot, Kandal, Kratie, Prey Veng, Siem Reap, and Takeo.
