Planning 12 major fruit trees in Southern Vietnam
According to the planning of key fruit tree concentrated growing areas in Southern Vietnam until 2020, which has been approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, dragon fruit, mango, rambutan, durian, milk fruit, pomelo, longan, banana, pineapples, oranges, custard apple and tangerine are 12 major fruit trees grown in this area. The total area of key fruit trees planted concentrated until 2020 is 257,000 ha, of which 185,100 ha is in the Mekong River Delta and 71,900 ha in the Southeast.
