Letters from the Mekong: Obstacles to equitable hydropower development planning

An article analysing political pressure on the Mekong River Commission and possible impacts of proposed dam projects. The author argues that the Mekong River Commission should maintain its role as an arena of dialogue and negotiation at the policy level. The author identifies several opportunities for transnational cooperation.
