Lao National Biosafety Frameworks

Lao National Biosafety Framework is a combination of policy, legal, administrative and technical instruments that are set in place to address safety for the environment and human health in relation to modern biotechnology and contains following components: Chapter I: The Government Policy on biosafety Chapter II: The Regulatory regime for biosafety Chapter III: Administrative systems for biosafety Chapter IV: Mechanisms for public education awareness and participation Chapter V: Capacity building Program to implement Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety Chapter VI: Project Priorities to implement Lao National Biosafety Framework
