Follow up the promises of the 1998 election political parties and the achievement of the coalition government

During the 1998 national election, many promises were made by the Funcinpec Party (FCP) and the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) to improve the lives of the Cambodian people. Conducted by The Committee for Free and Fair Elections in Cambodia (Comfrel), this report examines the activities that achieve, or fall short of, the promises made by the newly elected officials, in five major areas such as agriculture, education, healthcare, military operations and the rule of law. The last sessions underline the sentiment of Cambodian people towards to the government's performance and conclude with recommendations.
