Research Report: Political Role of Customary Law in Ethnic Minority Community Development in Vietnam

Under the project "Capacity Building for the Vietnam Lawyers Association", UNDP supported the Social Policy and Environment Research Institute (SPERI) in collaboration with The Consultancy on Development (CODE) to do fieldwork case study “Political Role of Customary Law in Ethnic Minority Community Development in Vietnam”. This case study explores the current status of customary law in relation to land administration, livelihood security, and community governance. The main objective of the study is to understand the current role of customary law in ethnic minority life.
