Labor Law (amended), 2006 [Lao PDR]

The objectives of the Labour Law are to determine principles, regulations and measures on labour, building and development of worker skills, job placement, use of labour, adjustment of labour relationships, and administration of labour in order to increase the quality and productivity of the workforce in the society to ensure the transformation to modern industry, contributing to national socio-economic development and regional and international integration to improve the living conditions of the multi-ethnic people.
