REDD+ Safeguards in Myanmar (MM)

REDD+ is an international initiative to mitigate climate change by protecting, sustainably managing, and regenerating forests. This document summarizes the REDD+ international safeguards and Myanmar's Social and Environmental Safeguard Principles, including recognizing UNDRIP, conserving biodiversity, and the full and effective participation of all stakeholders, including Indigenous peoples, local communities, women, and marginalized groups.
