Myanmar's Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) 2020 for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation (12 July 2021)

Myanmar has developed its NDC 2020 with more determined and detailed climate actions in both areas of mitigation and adaptation compared to the initial report, Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC), getting together with all relevant stakeholders and applying all means of supports from the development partners on the basis of all-inclusiveness during 2015 and 2021. NDC 2020 was accomplished just before the Feb 1 Coup. In NDC, firm commitments for ambitious climate actions to be implemented within the specific period are clearly and strategically described to fulfill the Paris Goal of limiting global temperature well below 1.5°C.
