Devastating Laos dam collapse leads to deforestation of protected forests

This article reviews the catastrophic impacts of dam collapse in the Southern Laos in July 2018 which results in deaths, devastated communities, forced thousands to flee and ripped through areas of protected rainforest, including detrimental effects on the regions forests.
