Thematic assessment (summary): gender-based violence

This thematic assessment (summary) is a supplementary document prepared by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for its Cambodia project on strengthening country systems for the prevention and response to gender-based violence. The assessment examines the prevalence, causes, impacts, and underreporting of GBV in Cambodia, as well as gaps in legislation, financing, service delivery, case management, and administrative data systems. It also discusses opportunities to strengthen survivor-centered services, improve coordination among relevant institutions, enhance GBV data management, and use digital technologies to support prevention, information, and referral services.
