Hydropower Status Report 2016

Statistics about hydropower have been compiled by IHA using data from publicly published sources, IHA members, government representatives, industry sources and media monitoring. IHA’s database houses data for all sizes of hydropower assets, in all locations and of all types.

For hydropower generation, statistics are a combination of official government reports and IHA estimates based on averaged capacity factors.
