Annual report 2025 on the payment system in Cambodia

The National Bank of Cambodia has continued to develop its payment system to contribute to the achievement of the long-term strategy of the Royal Government as set out in the Cambodia Digital Economic and Social Policy Framework 2021-2035. In 2025, the number of transactions and the volume of digital payments increased by 65% and 14%, respectively, compared to 2024, and the volume was approximately 16 times the (GDP).
