In the current and future context, cassava—the second largest crop after rice—requires special support to maximize its benefits and to develop this crop into a powerful driving force for the Agro-Industrial Revolution 2015-2025. This National Policy on Cassava is a crucial part of implementing the Rectangular Strategy Phase IV and the National Strategic Development Plan 2019-2023.
