Positional Accuracy |
Two out of the 20 communal land titles have geospatial data in the annexes of the sub-decrees, but due to absence of clear coordinates, there are no boundaries for digitizing and georeferencing methods, therefore, ODC's mappers decided to select villages as points where the communal land titles of the indigenous communities are present.
|
Logical Consistency |
The land size of the communal land to Tumpoun indigenous community in La En village was reported differently between United Nations's press release and DPA's report. While the UN reports the land area of 1,454 hectares, DPA only recorded 1,218.56 hectares. As of 2022, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction has registered the land of 37 indigenous communities, including 24 communities in Ratanakkiri, 7 communities in Mondulkiri, 4 communities in Kratie and 2 communities in Stung Treng province.
|
Completeness |
This dataset recorded all of the registered communal land to indigenous people communities as 2019.
|
Process Step |
The dataset was collected from the government and NGOs in pdf format and then ODC's mappers converted it into shapefile through digitizing and georeferencing methods. The Geographic data is encoded in the WGS 84, Zone 48 North coordinate reference system.
