Party's obligation in the implementation of the project

The main goal of this land concession investment is to contribute to the sustainable development of the agricultural economy and to reduce the poverty of the Cambodian people by investing in restoring and increasing agricultural production by developing rubber plantations to increase economic efficiency. The objectives of this investment project are as follows: - Increase agricultural productivity on deforested land in concession areas through the development of agro-industrial rubber plantations. - Expand forest cover lost by previous anarchic deforestation, replacing rubber forest to increase the amount of forest cover to protect the natural environment in the concession area. - Contribute to rural economic development, increase income for people living near land concessions in order to reduce poverty in accordance with the policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia. - Promote the processing of agricultural products, especially rubber products and other products such as cashews for domestic demand and export, etc.

About 1,044 workers, technicians and managers will be employed in the first year and increased to 1,825 in the fifth year. From the sixth to the tenth year, the company plans to employ more than 1,521 people.

  • The company must give priority to local people to work in the project area before hiring people from outside. - The workers who join the project will receive a decent wage, along with other benefits during the holidays.
