Report on constituency dialogues in Cambodia (2009)
The constituency dialogue is similar to that of a town hall meeting and anyone is welcome to attend. Moderated by experienced NDI staff, the forum opens the floor to between 400 and 600 citizens who raise questions and voice concerns directly to their constituency representatives, members of the National Assembly. From October 2008 to December 2009, NDI held 10 constituency dialogues with multiparty representation in the National Assembly: Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Kampong Cham, Kampong Speu, Kampong Thom, Kampot, Kandal, Prey Veng, Siem Reap, and Takeo.
