Name Newsletter: Mining in Cambodia
Description

This newsletter demonstrated its findings with scientific data supported revealing a high prospect sites for gold/copper mining extraction in north-eastern parts of Cambodia. Mining exploration in Cambodia is still limited in term of high technology for exploration. Indochine is one of several foreign companies initiated modern exploration technique around 2005; and a trend of gold occurrences in northern region of Cambodia. The information was recently released and announced resource at Okvau (605,000oz, Oz Minerals March 2010). Moreover, the company had built a large tenement package covering two highly prospective areas within Kraties and Ratanakiri. The area covered approximately 4,300 Km2. Kratie situated in the inner north-east region emerging as a gold district. Furthermore, Ratanakiri is in far north-east region of Cambodia which is similarly sharing common fame of promising gold exploration. To carrying these works some critical works had been supported via building exploration base, purchasing high definition satellite imagery, and the completion of an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey; field work: mapping, geochemical sampling of streams and soils.
