Open data handbook
The handbook is about how to unlock the potential of official and other information to enable new services, to improve the lives of citizens and to make government and society work better. The notion of open data and its importance for the people livelihood, the criteria of open data and open license, and examples of the open data practices in developed countries are covered under numerous sections of this book. Included in a broad audience of this book are non-data persons, seasoned data professionals, civil servants, activists, journalists, researchers, politicians, developers, data geeks and others.
This handbook originally comes from Open Data Handbook, version 0.9, of Open Knowledge, in English and then translated into Khmer for a broad use of Cambodians and especially open data communities in Cambodia. Link to resource: http://opendatahandbook.org/guide/en/
