Name Prakas No.360 on Occupations and Professions Prohibited for Foreign Workers
Description

The purpose of this Prakas is to determine the types of non-Cambodians self-employed occupants who are prohibited from working in the Kingdom of Cambodia. A self-employed person refers to a person who performs his or her own employment or occupation without regard to wages or salaries provided by the employer or the state under the employment contract. Prohibited occupations and professions are: 1) drivers of all types of vehicles as a business (such as two- and three-wheeled vehicles, cars and trucks); 2) street vendor; 3) masseuse; 4) barbers hairdresser, hairdressing and beauty treatment; 5) tailor and shoe shiner; 6) dressmaker; 7) tire repairer or mechanic; 8) maker of Khmer souvenirs; 9) maker of Khmer musical instruments, monk’s alms bowls or Buddhist statues; 10) goldsmiths or polishing diamond or precious stones.
