KrisEnergy annual report 2017

The KrisEnergy 2017 annual report was structured with the overall review, financial review, portfolio and technical review, governance and sustainability report. According to the report, the Company holds working interests in 17 contract areas, five of which produced a combination of oil, condensate and or gas at an average rate of 12,745 barrels of oil equivalent per day (“boepd”) in 2017. In 2018 and 2019, the financial and operational resources will be directed towards core Cambodian and Thai assets in the Gulf of Thailand where oil development projects have shorter cycle times to begin cash flow generation, and mandatory commitment activities as required under company licence agreements.

General note

On 23 August 2017, KrisEnergy, the operator of Cambodia Block A since 2014, and the Royal Government of Cambodia signed an amended and restated petroleum agreement for Cambodia Block A and a production permit for the Apsara oil development. The Apsara field is scheduled to produce oil in 2019, an historic milestone for the economy and people of Cambodia as the nation’s first oil development.
